Hope you guys are doing great.

So, if you have read my previous blog posts on BIOTIQUE products, you probably must have known that how much I love and adore all natural and ayurvedic products. I am constantly searching for good ayurvedic brands available in India which are affordable and budget friendly but also take care of my skin.  

So, when I finished my bottle of Clean and Clear Morning face wash, I was kept thinking about should I buy a facewash from a new brand or should I continue using the same one. You guys must know how hard it is to make changes in your skincare. After thinking a lot I had decided to buy Biotique Advanced Ayureda Bio Honey Gel Refreshing Foaming Face Wash.

What was my first impression?

The first time I opened the box of all the products I bought, my first impression was  “ Ok, good. There are few products. Let’s use them. If my skin starts breaking out, I’ll stop using them.”

The product was in a large tube and I was suddenly scare and talked to myself , “It’s too much.” The color was pretty and beautiful  , so my fear just left my head.

Packaging:

The packaging is pretty sterdy.  A transparent  tube with a green lid to open and take the product out. It’s a big package so it won’t be travel friendly but yes, its pretty steardy for the leaking if you try to take it with you.

What does the product claim?

“Bio honey gel is a hydrating foaming, 100%  soap-free gel is blended with pure honey and extracts from the bark of the arjun tree and wild turmeric.Dissolves makeup and impurities, softens skin and helps lighten the complexion.”

The above lines are literally written over the bottle.

Also it also claims that the product is

1.          Organically pure and preservative free.
2.          Dermatologist tested for safety.
3.          No animal testing.

  

What does this product contain?

1.         Banhaldi Rhizome ( Wild Turmeric ) : 1.5%
2.           Arjun Bark : 0.9%
3.           Neem Bark : 1.8%
4.           Ritha Fruit Pulp : 3.0%
5.           Ananas Fruit : 3.0%
6.           Madhu (Honey) : 1.8%
7.           Purified Water  Q.S.

The ingredients are written  are according to my knowledge are best for your skin. If you them regularly, you can see the difference in your skin.

Turmeric makes your skin glow giving your skin shine from within , so does the honey. Also neem and turmeric is veruy useful to prevent acne.

How to use ( as per the packaging )?

Step 1: Gently massage oer wet face and neck with fingertips.

Step 2: Lather gently.

Step 3: Rinse with cold or luke warm water.

Volume:

Net volume of the product that I have is 150 ml i.e. 5.07 fl.oz.

Price:

The product I am reviewing is of Rs. 179 for 150 ml which I think is quite affordable.

Texture and fragrance:

The product inside the package or the tube has a gel like consistency like any other face wash that we use. Color is orange-ish red, if I may say.

The frangrance is sweet and fruity as well as like a cream ( a handcream). I don’t hate the fragrance but I don’t even like it too much to keep sniffing the bottle but its no annoying to me.

Why to use this product?

The thing that I like about this facewash is that it makes my skin soft after rinsing it off and patdrying.

My skin is a combination of both oily and dry skin types and very sensitive in nature. I tend to breakout easily if something doesn’t suit me. But this facewash hasn’t done any harm to my skin. The facewash is not drying at all. It can really be used by all skin types .

The product is dermatologist tested means its good for sensitive skin

100% ayurvedic and preservative free is what we all want today. So try it.

You can use it all year long.

Why not to use it?

I didn’t find any reason to tell you not to use it. But I think if you have already drying skin, don’t use it in winter season. It may dry your skin a little bit more.

One other thing that you won’t like and want to know before you purchase it is that it doesn’t lather as much as other facewashes do. It has a subtle lather not foam. So, if it’s a thing you like, but it otherwise you should skip.
